Green corrosion inhibitor for cleaners
We are highlighting DeTeric LP this month. The LP is a sodium lauraiminodipropionate surfactant that exhibits multiple functions. This product exhibits detergency,wetting and hydrotroping properties. It is low cost, readily biodegradable and has a INCI designation. The corrosion properties can be seen in hard water and strong acids. Recommended for high foam cleaners. Bio resistance emulsifiers
Abitec has recently introduced bio resistant emulsifiers. These products are based on three type of monoesters. Glyceryl caprylate, glyceryl heptanoate and propylene glycol caprylate are three types available from Abitec. They have shown anti microbial performance in O/W emulsions.
