A liquid, anhydrous modified carboxylate. It is recommended for use as a low foaming hydrotrope in aqueous and powdered alkaline systems. It also functions as a corrosion inhibitor for aluminum in aqueous systems above pH 7.0. Soluble in water, alcohols and glycols. It is insoluble or dispersible in most solvents and oils.
