A low foaming, nonionic, alkoxylated alcohol having a cloud point in water of ~25ºC. It has the second lowest cloud point in a series of DeFOREST alkoxylates with cloud points ranging from 15°C to 61°C. Soluble in alcohols, glycols, and solvents. It is water soluble below its cloud point and dispersible above its cloud point (23° -27°C). It is insoluble in oils.

Chemically described as an alkoxylated carboxylate, it’s designed for use in alkaline systems only. It is not recommended for use in acid systems. Is an organic phosphated amphoteric that is soluble and stable in up to 50% liquid caustic soda and up to 45% liquid caustic potash. It exhibits low, quick breaking foam with wetting and surface tension reduction properties in highly caustic applications. It has excellent color stability in high caustic environments.
