  • An aliphatic, polyester-based, water-borne polyurethane dispersion. HD-2142was developed for use on flexible and rigid PVC, and treated polypropylene film. Coatings containing this polymer form hard, tough, chemical- and stain-resistant films. Superior adhesion to PVC makes it the ideal candidate for vinyl sheet goods, automotive interior parts, vinyl furniture and components. CHARACTERISTICS:
    • Superior adhesion to PVC and treated polypropylene film
    • Excellent UV resistance
    • Good alcohol resistance
    • Good humidity resistance
    • Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone co-solvent
  • Soft, aliphatic, water-borne polyurethane dispersion in a blend of DMM and propylene glycol solvents. L-2985 was designed for use in textile applications that require a soft hand coupled with very good strength, abrasion resistance, excellent adhesion, and excellent resiliency. Due to its overall properties, L-2985 can be used as a finish or a coating. This versatile urethane is ideally suited for use as a finish for nylon and polyester threads and as a coating for nylon and vinyl substrates. L-2985is also ideally suited for textile-coating applications that require excellent low temperature flex crack resistance. The low melt temperature also allows L-2985to be used as a heat seal coating. When properly formulated, L-2985can be used as a coating for awning fabrics, boat cover fabrics, and other architectural fabrics. CHARACTERISTICS:
    • NMP-free, APEO-free
    • Superior flexibility
    • Soft, tough, flexible film
    • Good abrasion resistance
    • Superior low temperature, flex-crack resistance
    • Low melting point (265ºF)
  • A soft, aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion. L-2969was designed primarily for use on flexible substrates as a coating, saturant or impregnant. L-2969 may also be used as a blending resin with harder polyurethane dispersions to impart flexibility without adversely effecting chemical resistance. CHARACTERISTICS:
    • Outstanding toughness and abrasion resistance
    • Excellent water and chemical resistance
    • Exceptionally high melting point for a medium soft polymer
    • Can be crosslinked to enhance performance
    • Dilution and clean-up with water
    • Contains dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether co-solvent
  • An extremely hard, NMP-free, APEO-free, aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion with exceptional chemical and early water-resistance properties. L-2892was designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic and wood. L-2892 produces films with exceptional adhesion to aluminum, excellent leveling properties and high levels of chemical resistance. CHARACTERISTICS:
    • Contains dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether (DMM) co-solvent
    • Outstanding water and chemical resistance
    • Fast early water resistance development
    • Can be crosslinked to enhance performance
  • An aliphatic, silicone-modified, polyester-based, water-borne polyurethane dispersion. HD-2602 was designed primarily for topcoat applications where slip and abrasion resistance properties are required. HD-2602contains a non-fugitive silicone component that provides low surface tension characteristics on flexible and rigid substrates including plastics, metals and textiles. CHARACTERISTICS:
    • May be formulated into low surface tension coatings
    • Excellent abrasion resistance
    • Non-fugitive silicone component
    • Crosslinkable for improved adhesion and performance
    • Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone co-solvent
  • An acrylic polyurethane dispersion with an exceptional balance of properties. L-3728 was designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic and wood. CHARACTERISTICS:
    • Excellent toughness, abrasion and mar resistance
    • Good water and chemical resistance
    • Excellent exterior weathering performance
    • Can be crosslinked to enhance performance
    • Dilution and clean-up with ordinary tap water
    • Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone (NMP) co-solvent
