  • Soft, aliphatic, water-borne polyurethane dispersion in a blend of DMM and propylene glycol solvents. L-2985 was designed for use in textile applications that require a soft hand coupled with very good strength, abrasion resistance, excellent adhesion, and excellent resiliency. Due to its overall properties, L-2985 can be used as a finish or a coating. This versatile urethane is ideally suited for use as a finish for nylon and polyester threads and as a coating for nylon and vinyl substrates. L-2985is also ideally suited for textile-coating applications that require excellent low temperature flex crack resistance. The low melt temperature also allows L-2985to be used as a heat seal coating. When properly formulated, L-2985can be used as a coating for awning fabrics, boat cover fabrics, and other architectural fabrics. CHARACTERISTICS:
