-
A very low foaming, nonionic, alkoxylated alcohol having a cloud point in water of ~15ºC. It has the lowest cloud point in a series of DeFOREST alkoxylates with cloud points ranging from 15°C to 61°C. Soluble in alcohols, glycols and solvents. It is water soluble below its cloud point, dispersible above its cloud point (13° -18°C), and insoluble in oils.
-
A low foaming, nonionic, alkoxylated alcohol having a cloud point in water of ~25ºC. It has the second lowest cloud point in a series of DeFOREST alkoxylates with cloud points ranging from 15°C to 61°C. Soluble in alcohols, glycols, and solvents. It is water soluble below its cloud point and dispersible above its cloud point (23° -27°C). It is insoluble in oils.
-
A moderate foaming, nonionic, alkoxylated alcohol having a cloud point in water of ~40ºC. It exhibits a mid-range cloud point in a series of DeFOREST alkoxylates with cloud points ranging from 15°C to 61°C. Soluble in alcohols and glycols. It is water soluble below its cloud point, dispersible above its cloud point (38° - 42°C), and insoluble in oils.
-
A moderate foaming, nonionic, alkoxylated alcohol having a cloud point in water of ~61ºC. It has the highest cloud point in a series of DeFOREST alkoxylates with cloud points ranging from 15°C to 61°C. Soluble in alcohols and glycols. It is water soluble below its cloud point, dispersible above its cloud point (56° -63°C), and insoluble or dispersible in oils and solvents.
-
A readily biodegradable modified amine oxide used to produce clear, stable, colorless sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide gels. Soluble in water, alcohol and glycols. Insoluble in most solvents and oils.
-
A readily biodegradable emulsifier for dibasic esters, kerosene and other solvents. Dispersible or soluble in water, alcohols, aliphatic, aromatic and chlorinated solvents and glycols. It is dispersible or insoluble in oils.
-
A cost effective, biodegradable emulsifier for soy, canola and rapeseed methyl esters. Soluble in water, alcohols, aromatic and chlorinated solvents. It is dispersible in glycols and oils. It is insoluble in aliphatic solvents below a concentration of 25% by weight.
-
An aliphatic phosphate ester in the acid form, based on an ethoxylated alcohol. Dispersible in water & oils. Soluble in most polar and aromatic solvents.
-
A potassium salt of an organic phosphate ester used as a hydrotrope for acid and alkaline systems where low foam is desirable. Soluble in water, alcohols and glycols. It is insoluble in oils and solvents.
-
A high phosphorous content phosphate ester in free acid form. It is recommended for use as an extreme pressure additive, lubricant and corrosion inhibitor in metal working applications. Soluble in oil and solvents in free acid form. It is soluble in water when neutralized to pH ≥ 7.5.
-
A complex phosphate ester in free acid form. Soluble in water, alcohols, and glycols. It is insoluble in oils and solvents.
-
An aliphatic phosphate ester derived from ethylene oxide based surfactants. It is a mixture of mono and di esters, supplied in free acid form. It can easily be converted to the salt of an alkali metal or amine by neutralizing with the desired base. Soluble in water, alcohols, solvents, glycols and many oils.
