  • A soft, aliphatic, polycarbonate-based, polyurethane dispersion. HD-2501 was designed primarily for use on flexible substrates as a coating, saturant or impregnant. CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Co-solvent free, soft, aliphatic, water-borne, polyurethane dispersion. HD-2024 was designed for use as a cost effective urethane for use in coatings or finishes for textile fabrics. This unique urethane dispersion is manufactured at high solids and without the use of solvent. HD-2024 is well suited for use as a strength additive for acrylic polymers. Whether used alone or as a strength additive, HD-2024 provides increased strength, anti-fray, and abrasion resistance properties at an affordable price.     CHARACTERISTICS:

  • A low cost, aromatic, polyether-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion. HD-3011 is a highly versatile coatings and adhesive polymer for applications where lightfastness is not critical. Its dry surface and high melting point properties prevent blocking problems. Excellent for use as a solvent (MEK) reactivate-able adhesive for bonding and laminating applications. Compatible with acrylic and other aqueous polymers for optimum cost/performance balance.   CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Ultra-soft, aliphatic, water-borne urethane dispersion. HD-4670 was designed for use in textile applications that require an ultra-soft hand coupled with good strength, abrasion resistance, and excellent resiliency. Due to its overall properties, HD-4670 can be used as a finish or a coating. This versatile urethane is ideally suited for use as an anti-fray finish on textile fabrics that must have an ultra-soft hand. HD-4670 is also ideally suited for textile-coating applications that require excellent low temperature flex crack resistance. The extremely low melt temperature also allows HD-4670 to be used as a heat sealable coating.   Characteristics:

  • Soft, aliphatic, water-borne, polyurethane dispersion. HD-4638 was designed for use in textile applications as a versatile polyurethane coating. Due to its overall properties, HD-4638 can be used as a finish or a coating for many textile applications. This product is ideally suited for use as an anti-fray finish on textile fabrics that must have a soft hand.   • A soft, matte finish, aliphatic, polyurethane dispersion HD-4626 can be used as a companion dulling agent for basecoat and topcoat formulas on full-grain, corrected, and split leathers. HD-4626 is particularly useful where the break of the leather is a concern.   Characteristics:

Suggested Uses: Hauthane HD-3830 is designed to impart a soft, rich textured coating on surfaces such as paper board, plastic films, molded rigid plastic parts and other smooth surfaces.   • A hard, co-solvent free, aliphatic, polyester polyurethane dispersion from Hauthaway. L-3615 was designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic and wood. It may also be used as a blending resin with the softer L-3614 to impart greater film flexibility. A balanced composition provides good stability with acrylics and confers superior strength, abrasion resistance and low temperature flexibility properties.   CHARACTERISTICS

  • A very soft, co-solvent free, aliphatic, polyester polyurethane dispersion from Hauthaway. L-3614 was designed for use in applications that require an ultra-soft hand coupled with good strength, abrasion resistance, and excellent resiliency. It may be used as a blending resin with the harder L-3615 to impart increased toughness. A balanced composition provides good stability with acrylics and confers superior strength, abrasion resistance and low temperature flexibility properties.   CHARACTERISTICS

  • A soft, co-solvent free, aliphatic, polycarbonate-based polyurethane dispersion from Hauthaway. L-3529 was designed primarily for use on flexible substrates as a coating, saturant or impregnant. It may be blended with L-3528 to increase hardness.   CHARACTERISTICS

    L- 3529 can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications. It may be thickened with associative thickeners for knife-over-roll or similar methods.
  • A soft, NMP-free, aliphatic, polycarbonate-based, polyurethane dispersion from Hauthaway. L-3121 was designed primarily for use on flexible substrates as a coating, saturant or impregnant. CHARACTERISTICS

  • An NMP-free/APEO-free aliphatic, polyester-based, polyurethane dispersion designed to produce unequaled clarity and gloss from Hauthaway. L-3040 was designed for wood finishing applications, but it can be used on a wide variety of both rigid and flexible substrates. Use wherever gloss and clarity are of paramount importance.   • An anionic, aliphatic, aqueous polyurethane dispersion from Hauthaway. L-2183 is an adhesive grade polyurethane suggested for modifying industrial laminating adhesives. L-2183 may also be used in low tack pressure sensitive applications. CHARACTERISTICS

  • A high solids, anionic, aliphatic, aqueous polyurethane dispersion from Hauthaway. L-2255is an adhesive grade polyurethane suggested for industrial laminating applications. Suitable for bonding plasticized vinyl sheet to itself and to other substrates such as rubber, wood, cardboard and textiles. CHARACTERISTICS:
    • High solids (48%), co-solvent free
    • Can be crosslinked to improve bond strength and heat-resistance.

  • An anionic, aliphatic, aqueous polyurethane dispersion with a low activation temperature from Hauthaway. L-2245 is an adhesive grade polyurethane suggested for industrial laminating applications where a pre-lamination coating is applied to a substrate and then dried. Ideal for bonding plasticized vinyl sheet to itself and to other substrates such as rubber, wood, cardboard and textiles.   CHARACTERISTICS:
    • May be crosslinked for improved adhesion and heat-resistance.

  • A hard, NMP-free, APEO-free, aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous polyurethane dispersion with an exceptional balance of properties from Hauthaway. L-2877 was designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic and wood. CHARACTERISTICS:

  • A co-solvent free, polycarbonate-based, aliphatic, polyurethane dispersion from Hauthaway. L-3528 was developed for general coatings use on wood, plastic and metal substrates. The product offers exceptional resistance to hydrolysis, oxidation and UV-degradation. L-3528 is ideally suited for exterior applications where film durability and longevity are important considerations. CHARACTERISTICS:

  • A soft, halogen-free, flame retardant, aliphatic, polyurethane dispersion from Hauthaway. L-3192 was designed for use as a coating or finish for synthetic textile fabrics that must have permanent flame retardancy. This unique urethane dispersion is manufactured at high solids and without the use of solvent. Low add-on levels of L-3192 will enable synthetic fabrics to pass various FR tests including NFPA-701 and MVSS-302. L-3192 is well suited for use in textile coatings, such as automotive upholstery, that require outstanding strength and flame retardancy. Using L-3192, a coating can be formulated to pass MVSS-302 and maintain required strength properties at a much lower coating weight than conventional coatings.   • A self-crosslinking, aliphatic, water-based polyurethane dispersion designed for use in high performance concrete and wood floor coatings. L-3786 employs a unique air-dry, self-crosslinking mechanism to impart chemical-resistance, abrasion-resistance and mar-resistance properties which equal or exceed those of two-component, water-based floor coating systems currently used in the market.

L-3773 was designed for topcoat applications on a wide variety of substrates, including concrete, metal, plastic and wood. L-3773 can be used as a sole vehicle or blended with acrylic emulsions for spray or rotogravure applications.   • Soft, aliphatic, polyester-based, water-borne polyurethane dispersion. HD-2001was designed for use in textile applications that require a soft hand coupled with abrasion resistance, excellent adhesion and excellent resiliency. This versatile urethane is ideally suited for use as a finish for nylon and polyester threads and as a coating for nylon and vinyl substrates. HD-2001is also suitable for textile-coating applications that require excellent low temperature flex crack resistance. The low melt temperature also allows HD-2001to be used as a heat-sealable coating. When properly formulated, HD-2001can be used as a coating for awning fabrics, boat cover fabrics, and other architectural fabrics. CHARACTERISTICS:

  • An aliphatic, polyester-based, aqueous urethane dispersion specifically developed for factory coated PVC flooring. HD-2139was developed as a high gloss, no wax topcoat for expanded PVC flooring.   • A hard, chemical-resistant, polyester-based, aliphatic, polyurethane dispersion. HD-2125was developed for use on flexible and rigid PVC and other plastic substrates. It may also be formulated to provide gloss topcoats on cementatious, metal and wood substrates.
