  • Tytan CX400 is titanium chelate of alkanolamine titanate complex and developed as a rheology modifier for use in emulsion paints. Tytan CX400 reacts with colloid stabilized binders to impart thixotropic structure. Tytan CX400 is suitable for VOC free paint.
  • Tytan CX200 is a chelated Titanium Alkanolamine Complex developed as a rheology modifier for emulsion paints. Tytan CX200 reacts with colloid stabilized binders to impart a thixotropic structure to the paint through shear sensitive hydrogen bonding. Tytan CX200 has no to little effect on the rheology of emulsion paints based on surfactant stabilized binders.   • PANGEL W range is formulated to work as thickener and water retention additive in emulsion paints. PANGEL W is a highly efficient thickener based upon organically modified clay manufactured from highly purified sepiolite, that produces high low shear viscosity without impairing the application properties of the formula. Viscosity is not influenced by temperature no pH and together with pseudoplasticity has also a thixotropy. Exhibits water retention properties with increased open time.     Properties

    PANGEL S1500 is a thixotropic additive developed to be used in water-based compositions where electrolytes are present. PANGEL S1500 imparts excellent thixotropic and pseudoplastic properties to the systems it is incorporated to improving stability and spreading properties:
    • At rest, it provides the system with a high consistency what produces a suspending effect and a great resistance to settling, avoiding sedimentation. Also sagging and film thickness are highly improved due to this effect.
    • Under a shear stress, PANGEL S1500 forces the viscosity to promptly fall down, easing manual and mechanical application and leveling
    PANGEL S1500 controls system flow and consistency, ensuring optimal distribution of pigments, fillers and other components.   • Rheological Additive HIGH PURITY SODIUM BENTONITE-BASED PANGEL M90F is a high purity smectite-based additive with a selected particle size, specially developed to modify the rheology of joint compounds, plasters and fillers formulated in both powder and paste. PANGEL M90F is recommended where a fine particle size is required. PANGEL M90F can be used also as a binder agent of organic and inorganic powders. Its elevated swelling capacity in contact with water permits it to break apart easily while maintaining elevated resistance when dry.
  • PANGEL HV is a high efficiency rheological additive, manufactured from high purity sepiolite. Its presentation as a high porosity pellet avoids handling with powder, allowing for maximum efficiency. It is a rheological additive in the form of pellets, for a more convenient handling system.
  • PANGEL CS 610 is a pozzolanic additive based on colloidal silica with very fine (7 nanometers) and narrow particle size distribution. Its rapid surface penetration leads to very fast bonding with calcium hydroxide [Ca(OH)2] which provides an outstanding densifier/hardener effect. PROPERTIES • PANGEL CS 610 reacts with calcium hydroxide in the concrete matrix to create additional calcium silicate hydrates (C-S-H). • PANGEL CS 610 provides a harder and more uniform surface making it withstand abrasion and take a better polish effect. • Due to its unique structure, PANGEL CS 610 works as densifier/ hardener in concrete flooring applications providing better overall mechanical performance (surface hardness, compressive strength, permeability and abrasion resistance ) thus replacing other silicate densifiers.   • PANGEL C150 is a rheological additive, manufactured from sepiolite. It is a powder additive that improves the system rheology.

    Properties

    PANGEL C150 imparts excellent thixotropic and pseudoplastic properties to the systems in which it is incorporated; this favours an excellent suspending and thickening behaviour, improving application and workability of the final product. PANGEL C150 controls system flow and consistency, ensuring optimum distribution of solvents, fillers and other components. Suspensions made with PANGEL C150 are stable even at high electrolyte concentration. Its rheological behaviour is stable in a wide pH range and at high temperatures.

  • PANGEL B5 is a powdered additive with a high thickening and anti-settling capacity for low polarity systems, particularly recommended for systems based on both aliphatic solvents and mineral or synthetic oils used as vehicle in liquid formulations.

    PANGEL B5 is particularly recommended to provide thixotropic, suspension and sagging-resistance properties to systems based on both aliphatic type solvents and mineral or synthetic oils. PANGEL B5 shows high thickening capacity in low polarity systems without the use of a polar activator for its dispersion. Use of PANGEL B5 has the following advantages against other conventional additives:
    • Decrease of sedimentation

  • Pangel B-42 is a powdered additive with a high thickening and anti-settling capacity for high polarity systems, particularly recommended for systems based on alcohol, glycol an ketone type solvents, as well as in mixtures of those with water. Pangel B-42 is particularly recommended to provide thixotropic, suspension and sagging-resistance properties to systems based on alcohol, glycol an ketone type solvents, as well as in mixtures of those with water. Pangel B-42 provides a strongly pseudoplastic character, producing high consistency levels without affecting viscosity during application. It exhibits its high effectiveness as anti-settling additive in formulations with high solid contents. Use of Pangel B-42 has the following advantages against other conventional additives: • Coatings and paints- Prevents settling of pigments and fillers; controls sagging without aggravating leveling; high stability during transportation and storage. • Printing inks: Improves consistency and prevents settling of pigments. • Paint strippers: Improves stability and facilitates stripping action. • Sealants and joints: Improves wetting and suspension properties; controls sliding. • Others: Control of sagging and dripping; improves stability.
