  • PANGEL B5 is a powdered additive with a high thickening and anti-settling capacity for low polarity systems, particularly recommended for systems based on both aliphatic solvents and mineral or synthetic oils used as vehicle in liquid formulations.

    Properties

    PANGEL B5 is particularly recommended to provide thixotropic, suspension and sagging-resistance properties to systems based on both aliphatic type solvents and mineral or synthetic oils. PANGEL B5 shows high thickening capacity in low polarity systems without the use of a polar activator for its dispersion. Use of PANGEL B5 has the following advantages against other conventional additives:
    • Decrease of sedimentation
    • High thickening capacity
    • Does not require polar activator
    • High capacity for thikening inverted emulsions
    • Control of sagging and dripping while improves stability.

  • Pangel B-42 is a powdered additive with a high thickening and anti-settling capacity for high polarity systems, particularly recommended for systems based on alcohol, glycol an ketone type solvents, as well as in mixtures of those with water. Pangel B-42 is particularly recommended to provide thixotropic, suspension and sagging-resistance properties to systems based on alcohol, glycol an ketone type solvents, as well as in mixtures of those with water. Pangel B-42 provides a strongly pseudoplastic character, producing high consistency levels without affecting viscosity during application. It exhibits its high effectiveness as anti-settling additive in formulations with high solid contents. Use of Pangel B-42 has the following advantages against other conventional additives: • Coatings and paints- Prevents settling of pigments and fillers; controls sagging without aggravating leveling; high stability during transportation and storage. • Printing inks: Improves consistency and prevents settling of pigments. • Paint strippers: Improves stability and facilitates stripping action. • Sealants and joints: Improves wetting and suspension properties; controls sliding. • Others: Control of sagging and dripping; improves stability.

Properties PANGEL B20 is particularly recommended to provide thixotropic, suspension and sagging-resistance properties to systems based on aromatic and unsaturated polyester type solvents, PANGEL B20 does not require the use of a polar activator for its dispersion. PANGEL B20 provides a strongly pseudoplastic character, producing high consistency levels without affecting viscosity during application. It exhibits its high effectiveness as anti-settling additive in formulations with high solid contents.   • NexSil 8 is an alkaline dispersion of 8 nm colloidal silica at 30% SiO2 concentration in water. The particles are negatively charged and have a high specific surface area. The product can be used in a wide variety of applications such as precision investment casting, metal surface treatment, textile treatment, catalyst binder or other applications where a very small particle size colloidal silica is required.

  • A 45% active sodium alkanoate in water. It is a highly effective, multifunctional, low foam hydrotrope recommended for use in cleaners at pH above 7. Chlorine stable and also exhibits wetting and corrosion inhibition properties. Soluble in water, alcohols and glycols and insoluble or dispersible in oils and solvents.
  • A modified carboxylate. It is recommended for use as a low foaming hydrotrope in aqueous alkaline systems. It also functions as a corrosion inhibitor for steel & aluminum in aqueous systems above pH 7.0. Soluble in water, alcohols and glycols. It is insoluble or dispersible in most solvents and oils.
  • A liquid, anhydrous modified carboxylate. It is recommended for use as a low foaming hydrotrope in aqueous and powdered alkaline systems.   • DeTHOX AMINE C-15 is an ethoxylated coconut amine with fifteen moles of ethylene oxide.It exhibits mildly cationic behavior and is used primarily used as an emulsifier, lubricant, corrosion inhibitor,and dispersant.   • A low foaming sodium octyliminodipropionate. Its primary use is for demulsification in water based systems. It also exhibits excellent hydrotroping properties in highly alkaline or acid formulations. Soluble in water, alcohols, and glycols. It is insoluble in oils and most solvents.
  • A sodium lauriminodipropionate. A versatile, high foaming amphoteric surfactant which finds utility in a wide variety of HI&I cleaning formulations. Also suitable for personal care applications, is readily biodegradable and exhibits low toxicity. Soluble in water, glycols and alcohols; insoluble in oils and solvents.
  • Is an organic phosphated amphoteric that is soluble and stable in up to 50% liquid caustic soda and up to 45% liquid caustic potash. It exhibits low, quick breaking foam with wetting and surface tension reduction properties in highly caustic applications. It has excellent color stability in high caustic environments.
  • A modified C8-12 sodium salt of a carboxylated propionate. Soluble in water, alcohols, and glycols. It is insoluble in oils and solvents.
  • A low to moderate foaming, anionic surfactant having detergency, wetting and solubilizing properties. Soluble in water, alcohols and glycols. It is insoluble in most solvents and oils.
  • A low foaming, modified amphoteric recommended for use in highly alkaline and acidic systems. DeTERGE LF-7315 is easy to formulate into caustic (up to ~40% active) and alkaline electrolytes, or into a wide variety of highly acidic systems. Soluble in water, alcohols and glycols and dispersible or insoluble in solvents and oils.
  • Modified carboxylate.  Excellent detergency, hydrotrope for nonionic surfactants in alkaline systems.  For use at 1-3% in formulations containg 20% active caustic.
  • A low foaming, modified alcohol ethoxylate which provides detergency, wetting, and excellent removal of hydrocarbon based soils in neutral and mildly alkaline formulations. DeTERGE LF-2379 exhibits fast wetting properties, even above its cloud point. Dispersible/soluble in water, alcohols and glycols. It is insoluble or dispersible in oils and solvents.
  • A unique, economical, low foaming, chlorine stable surfactant for use in products containing up to 15% active caustic and other alkaline electrolytes. Chemically described as an alkoxylated carboxylate, it’s designed for use in alkaline systems only. It is not recommended for use in acid systems. Solubility at 10% by weight: DeTERGE CS-45LF is soluble in water, alcohols and glycols. It is insoluble or dispersible in most solvents.
  • A complex ethoxylated amine recommended for use as a corrosion inhibitor and/or thickener for acid systems. Solubility at 10% in water: DeTERGE AT-100 self emulsifies in water. It is dispersible in water at concentrations of <10% by weight. It is soluble in most oils, glycols, alcohols, and solvents.

  • DeTAINE PB is a readily biodegradable, palmitic derived betaine acceptable for use in a wide variety of formulations including Personal Care applications (INCI name: Cetyl Betaine). This amphoteric, alcohol-free betaine produces rich, dense foam and affords good viscosity building properties. Suggested for use in acidic and alkaline formulations.
